Our History
MURCI was established in 2001 as a subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Research and Consulting, which serves as a comprehensive think tank for the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG). At the time, the Soeharto administration had come to an end and Indonesia was in the midst of resurrection. MURCI has continued to provide various research and consulting services to its clients in the public and private sectors, growing together with the Indonesian socio-economy. In 2015, MURCI moved to the MidPlaza Building where MUFG Bank—our group bank—has its Jakarta branch, making a new start.
