We are pleased to announce that Mitsubishi UFJ Research and Consulting Co., Ltd. (Headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, President: Satoshi Murabayashi, also “MURC”) has invited seven leaders and experts on global health as advisory members to strengthen a structure of the Center on Global Health Architecture (CGHA), an organization dedicated to addressing global health issues. We will deepen our collaboration with the leaders and experts in various fields to respond to the diverse and complex issues related to global health.

Background

With the impact of global population movement and climate change, health care challenges are becoming more diverse and complex. Outbreaks of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases and the spread of lifestyle-related diseases are being recognized as more serious global issues including the socio-economic impact with devastating consequences for countries. All the countries are required to work together, share knowledge and experience with research institutions and experts in a variety of specialized fields, and to take effective measures.
The CGHA at MURC is working to solve global health issues and strengthening cooperation with universities, research institutions, UN agencies, international organizations, private companies, and international NGOs, especially in low- and middle-income countries. In order to take on the challenges of health care and spread new solutions to our society, we have invited global leaders and experts as advisory members. We will continue to consider further expansion of the advisory members and strengthen our contribution to the global health issues through CGHA’s activities.

The Secretariat of this MoU is MURC’s Center on Global Health Architecture, an organization striving to solve global health issues.
